Descendant of Orr 1 Report post Posted March 29, 2011 Hello, everyone! I'm Descendant of Orr (a Guild Wars fan :D) and I'm new to the RMXP Unlimited community. I'll start off by saying I am not new to RPGMaker. I started using RPGMaker95 when I was 10 or so, and have used every major versions since. I am not a fan of 2003 or RMVX, and consider RMXP my pride and joy. I have never worked on a completed project (although my friends and I have started a couple), but would like to change that now. I am to ambitious of a person to start and finish my own project...as I complete parts of the game, new ideas and additions add up and I seem to slip further and further from completion as time passes. I am a perfectionist - thus I hold games I work on to high standards and hate bugs, graphical errors, incorrect grammar, misspellings, etc. in games that I work on. So, I'm joining this community in hopes that I can help someone with their game. I enjoy most aspects of RPGMaker - Mapping, Scripting, Database Creation, Balancing...and almost anything else. I am not much of an artist though. Drop in and say hi, and if you have a project that you need help with, let me know! Until I find something to do, I will probably loiter around the scripting help forum - while trying to clean this rust away.

Descendant of Orr 1 Report post Posted March 30, 2011 Thanks for all the welcome guys. I was afraid this didn't get posted at first. Site seemed to go down for me as soon as I made the topic :X are you good at story developement and titles? I can't say I'm particularly good at either. I enjoy doing both - but wouldn't list either as one of my fortes (cough, cough, scripting, cough) I might request your help soon. Please do! welcome! im working on my game solo. I completely understand! I was that way at one point - but it became completely overwhelming for me. If you change your mind, let me know! Welcome to RMXPU! Do you have any examples of your work? I wish I did. I really haven't been part of an RPGMaker community before, and there have been many factory restores on this machine since I have used RPGMaker...I should probably invest in a backup! Welcome to the forums! What's your favorite music? 70s/80s rock - to include Journey, Styx, Foreigner, Queen, Heart, Def Leppard, The Zep, Elton, Eric, too many to name. Thanks for asking though. Music is one of my favorite things. I could not live without it. You have a particular genre that you like?

kat.dea 0 Report post Posted March 30, 2011 (edited) Welcome! It's always nice to have more experience around. I may just need your help one day - scripting's definitely my weakest link. Respect to your taste in music too. There's nothing like an 80's rock ballad to get you through a long afternoon. Edited March 30, 2011 by kat.dea
