rpgxp space tileset

hey guys, im new to the tileset creation shizzle but i spent ages trying to find a universe tileset and after a while i came across a space station one that had been put together so i edited it to make this, i hope you like it, if you want me to add a bigger planet range just send me a link to a decent image as its very hard to source decent ones and cba making em from scratch, im just using it as a world map tileset so you can explore universe in space ship ect but i am getting to work on some sprites so ill keep you posted :D

 

heres a couple of sprites to start, the first two i found on a forum, but cant remember where so credits to the guy who made that, i may just update it to spray flames out when in movement phase, and the second has been edited to sorta work but needs further work :)

thank you, there for personal use but i thought theres a lack of em up here so i might as-well share em, p.s i just made this space ship so you an travel your universe in style :) recon i should remove the bobbing effect?

i updated the tile set and added small cites and castles to stick on the planets, and use as an event to fly into planet ect, there just next to the moon

hi, i just ,finished this sprite, im using mr mos abs battle system, you can find it on one of my posts, theres also a new alien that i put together from editing a 2003 version sprite, i have the eyes set to be always on top so you can put them above the body :)

edit- i bodged the tileset when i edited it and forgot to turn the threshold down whilst pasting but iv just fixed it so if you got the old one re-download it

the first 3 space ships are what i sourced through google, then the alien with the white suite was in a 2k3 format with loads of stances, so i edited it down into those 3 for xp use, the rest i drew :)

hey guys, its been a long time but gonna bump this topic up some more, digging through a hd i stumbled on my old project i was making this stuff for and realized that i hadnt updated alot of the stuff onto here, so allas here it is, there are alot of updates to the tileset, some stolen tiles, and others created by me, i cant point fingers at the makers of some tiles but if you know them then be sure to credit them:

running water for the shower tile, sort of a fail

a conveyor belt running both directions

doors

the machine thing in water

 

 

 

im also going to be extra nice and upload my old project, this is a construct of what was to be a space ship, im probably not going to use the maps any time soon and i have no problem others using them, if u dont want the maps you can still use the project as a base as the tileset is configured, enjoy!
