madanchi 18 Report post Posted April 27, 2011 So I'm guesing msot of you have heard about this but the psn network has been hacks and hackers have obtained everysingle psn accoutns details, their name, password, bank credit card number, pin code etc etc. People ahve reported already losing money, so if any of you here have a psn account, immediately cancel your card and order a new card with new digit number and new pin code. Sony have emailed many people about this and tell them to do what I just said, I have already done this, very annoying but safe.... I guess it is a good way to get revenge in their eyes, however I don't think they should target those who did not do anything (psn users) since I highly doubt sony's going to start refunding stolen money....so they aren't really getting any revenge, just stealing money. Which is lame. I hope people can cancel their cards before any money is taken :( I am not sure the exact stats of psn, but considering there are probably a load of users...even just stealing 1 dollar from every user probably adds up to a large sum. My bank has a second security. after you use the pin you have to provide a password which is not on my PSN account so they are getting nothing from me. I hope this gets resolved soon.
