Question

So I'm remaking my temple map (and changing some of the terminology) since I made it through the whole temple in 2 and a half minutes out of a possible 20 (Yes! I finally found how to fix the timers xD)

My thoughts is to make it longer by having all different trials, puzzles and minigames. So if anyone has any ideas for that, or any cool minigame scripts that an't moderny stuff, then please share :D

Something thats always fun in games and easy to make.

Spiked floors. If you step on the wrong one a spike will come up and you get hurt and can die if you get hurt to much.

rolling rocks that hurt you (like in

) might be a bit hard to get it right.

 

move-able rocks like in pokemon (w/out using strength of course)

or move-able rocks that look like all the other rocks

 

or a seemingly empty room with rocks that appear when you touch them.

(make sure you credit me if you use this. it's in like all of my games)

how to make it:

event:

page 1:

graphic = nothing

check the through box!

when player touch: set move route, 1 step back. control self switch A = on.

Page 2:

condition = Self switch A

graphic = some solid, 1 tile object

do NOT check the through box

copy and paste them in a maze formation with optional subtle hints in the "imperfections" of the floor.

Perhaps you can add a labyrinth, or maybe trap doors and secret rooms with hidden doors.
