A PS3 remake would be SO AWESOME!!!

But I noticed a comment on that video that said...

Remake won't happen. I personally would LOVE to see a FF7 remake. Also Nobuo Uematsu would have to be involved without question, or it would be a failure.

 

Aside from my wishes and countless petitions I have signed, I don't think it will ever happen.

 

I personally think that Square is too nervous that a remake of FF7 could break them. Everyone holds FF7 on a pedestal. If Square came out with a remake that fans didn't like..... it could destroy their company and their reputation. They're nervous.

 

But be honest, how awesome would a PS3 remake of Final Fantasy 7 be? I know it's kinda overrated, but some of the scenes would look much better, there would be voices, and they would be able to do so much more with it!

Sorry, but Square Enix says it would take them 30-40 years the make a remake. The only will make one if it takes only 1-2 years.

what i don't get is how it would take more than 2 years, that's just rediculus.

Because Square Enix already has a bunch of releases their working on first;

Final Fantasy XIII-2​ (yes really there actually making a remake to that horrible linear game <_< )

Final Fantasy Type-0​ (Originally Final Fantasy Agito XIII)

Dragon Quest X

 

Once their done with those I'm pretty sure other titles like FF15 would be created and any remake would probably be put on the PSP not PS3. Maybe in 2020.
