Synonyms/New Name Ideas Needed

Hey all, I am trying to name an item that works the same as a repel in the Pokemon RPG series.

When used it turns off random encounters until X steps are taken.

I looked up some synonyms for the word repel but nothing suited me.

The name has to suit a fantasy style game, and is preferred to be one word.

However it could be a draught, potion, herb, tincture, tonic, etc. also use of 'of the' or 'The' is acceptable too.

 

If anyone has any ideas on a good name suggestions would be much appreciated.

The person whose word is chosen to be included in the game will be credited in the appropriate section.

Nice thanks for the suggestions. I really like repulse but find it more science fiction then fantasy(imo). Then I started thinking maybe like a repulsing stone or warding stone.

Let's say, a rock that stays carefully covered until needed, then is unwrapped and cracked to emit an odor no enemy would go near.

I know a rock that smells is weird, but I like the idea lol. Alternately maybe a mushroom or flower.

The more I think about it the more I like the rock idea. I dunno, sometimes it helps to 'think out loud' hehe.
