GreenTwilight Development Forum

Recommended Posts

Hello! Laansolo, here, to bring you mine and my friends' new project. GreenTwilight Productions! We plan on making an online RMXP(or RMVX) game. Currently, it is a small community of roughly... 0 members other than mine and my friend. But we plan on growing as our game is released!

*note* Yes, I realize that we don't have our own address, and the forum is, how should I say this, lacking, but there is an ideas board there, so, sign up, and give us an idea! Also, don't forget to put an applacation to be a mod, there are only 3 open slots right now. We would like donations to get our own domain name.

Hoping to see you there!

Let me know if you need any graphic help.

Sorry I can't join fully. I've already joined too many other forums and I can't keep up anymore. >.<

I think it is best for you to make a team thread instead of an entire site. You site doesn't look like a game site. It looks more like an emo type site. Making a forum based on one game never seems to work for anyone in the long run. Please rethink this idea.

the forum isn't based on one game. it's actually based on the company (or whatever it would be called). it's also there as a fun little thing, I hope to get more people to join.

webs.com = no no. Any website generator will only make you look unprofessional. even getting just a free website template and setting it up on a real host is better. I was turned off immediately as the page loaded.

Yeah there are going to be people like that. But, its a good start, not everyone has the luxury of starting a site with a proper hosting, design, domain and software.

neither me or my friend know much about CSS, HTML, or phpBB to make our own site. otherwise, it's simple to find an inexpensive host and a free developing program (or at least inexpensive).

1. HTML / CSS are extremely easy to learn.

2. phpBB is a forum software, not a coding language.

3. There are tolerable free hosts out there that you could use.

4. Its not hard, just put the effort into things and you might actually get a good end result.

Certainly, the amount of effort you put in is somewhat proportional to the quality of your site. When I started this site I absolutely no knowledge about anything web-related. No CSS or HTML. Besides, you can always ask for help on things you cannot figure out :)
