Elliptical Diffusion RECRUITING [Programming][Event]

Hello community! My name is NnsNightshade, and I am the co-founder of White Circle Studios, a media design team. We're looking to recruit some programmers and event handlers for our RPG Maker XP project, Elliptical Diffusion.

 

Please note that we DO wish to make this with RPG maker XP, even though it will be a medium-length side-scroll RPG. Please don't bombard me with questions as to why we chose RPG Maker XP -- it is simply because it is the only game maker I am familiar with, and the single engine that I love the support and community of. We have tried with Game Maker with no help or support. RPG Maker XP has got us currently the furthest we've been on the project, though we would love to have some talented programmers and event handlers to help bring this little game to life.

What We're Looking For:

 

 

- Programmers in RPGXP to make the custom codes and/or edit already made codes for use in our game.

- Event Handlers who know their way around RPG Maker XP and can use the Database section of RPG Maker XP with ease.

- Voice talents for all gender/age of voice.

Game Story:

 

 

In four worlds, the full moon kept a careful watch, blanketing the land in its comforting silver light. In four worlds, the rain began to fall, bringing with it the sound of thunder. In four worlds, the inhabitants carried on, unsuspecting. However, this was no ordinary night. In four worlds, destinies were about to manifest.

 

For the first time since the creation of the universes, all realms of existence would intertwine and connect as one.

 

In the proud lands of the gladiators, where the test of strength proved to be as dear to a man as his own wife.

 

In the enchanted forests, where those who live by the hunt live in harmony with nature.

 

In the bustling cities of magic, where new ideas are forged and the people fill their heads and hearts with knowledge.

 

And in the hidden temples tucked in the mountains, where the monks worship their gods under the protection of the shamans.

 

It is in the stillness of night that an enemy is at his strongest. As diligently as the full moon gazed upon the lands of all eras, the heavens in each realm began to quiver with deadly force. The sky fell upon the worlds simultaneously. A great void swallowed up the starry expanse and revealed only a gorging darkness. Two eyes full of malice and hatred, appeared, and soon after, the foe of all living things commanded the peoples with his very presence.

 

His very being resonated all things vile and evil. His red eyes were blinding, his appearance sickening, and his voice made every heart tremble as it echoed his demand.

 

"I am Astromith, the bender of space and keeper of time. Heed my warning.

You shall deliver up your best to test my ultimate power and I will feed upon their skills until they are dust and the universe is mine! This time there will be no Spirit to save you!"

 

Having won a recent contest of strength only moments before, a gladiator plucks his sword out of his opponent’s body and accepts Astromith’s call. He turns to his wife briefly.

 

"I must bid my farewell, dear love."

 

She understands what her husband must do, for it is a disgrace for a warrior to deny a man‘s duty to fight and protect. He is the mightiest of the mighty, and battles with pride and fortitude.

 

"I accept your challenge!"

 

The rogue, who relies on her vigilance, nods to her campmates. Her skills with the bow are deadly, yet she has always fought for justice. Looking into the eyes of the demon, she raises her weapon defiantly and fires at him with unmatched precision.

 

"Ha!"

 

She does not say goodbye to her friends, for she knows that this is her duty and the very reason she was born.

 

"Here I come!"

 

The mage stands against the chaotic masses of his fellow students with his calm demeanor. With a deep compassion he makes a promise to his people and scoffs at the unimpressed Astromith.

 

"I will protect this city, even if it does not exist where I will go."

 

His arsenal of spells have carried him far, but he knows that this is the true test of his character. With a snap of his fingers he teleports into the evil monster’s void, ready to fulfill his fate.

 

"Hmph!"

 

Only in the mountains a dispute between who shall go arises. It is on the Elder Shaman’s shoulders to determine the vessel of the Chosen One. After careful deliberation, he rests his hand on the youngest boy’s shoulder.

 

"You...are the chosen one. You shall enter the realm of Astromith, my son. Always remember to keep the will of the Great Spirit alive in your heart."

 

The young shaman, with the innate ability to control the elements, knows that his life is about to change forever. With a final bow to his elders, he too, takes his first steps onto an unexpected path.

 

"I will never forget what I learned here."

 

High in the skies, the Destroyer of Worlds laughs as he retreats, all of the eras having bent to his wicked demands.

 

What will become of the four champions? Will their integrity keep them steadfast to their goals, or will they become corrupted by Astromith’s dastardly coercion?

 

Only time will tell.
