Faellin

trouble with an "icy floor" mechanic.

Question

I got to a part in my game that requires one of those floor scripts that make it so you can't stop moving in 1 direction until you hit something. same with pushable objects. I am just wondering how to actually do this sort of thing in rpg xp. if anyone knows how to do this please post how. I'll be grateful if you can help.

pfft, ive mastered that. but i dont know if pushable objects works the same way.

here we go...

on every icy floor tile:

new event

player touch trigger

Set move route (player)

-ignore if cant move

--move animation off

--one step forward

--move animation on

not on any other tile

hope that helps :alright:

Well when I tried the event on every tile system. it causes the game to lag rather badly........... isn't there a guide on how to make this work with minimal events anywhere? That's what I really need. Edit: and that download seems to not work whenever I try to use it.
