Think I asked this before few months ago, but it wasn't clear and turned into a wtf thread.

 

Then I had just quit, but now I want to start again.

 

I'm making a online pokemon game with RMXP, everything works good. Only problem is the chatbox (only used to chat with other people, nothing else). After you've fought, it turns to black for forever. You can still type and see the text above your head, but not in the chatbox unless you open the menu by pressing the escape button. That way you can see the chatbox, but when you want to play and close the menu, it's black again. Meaning you can still use it, but it's kinda annoying.

 

So my question is, if you would play the pokemon game, would you stop playing or just never begin because of this chatbox problem?

 

I want to know your opinion to see if this will be a big problem.

Well first off, assuming you are still willing to try and fix the problem:

 

Please post a link to the Pokemon SDK you are using. I'm sure at least ONE person has had the same kind of issue before.

 

Also do you have any other modifications to your game?

 

 

As for it hindering gameplay. Well... I don't think so. From what I can tell you're talking about an MMO, and in Pokemon I don't think big ol' conversations are a big deal.

The chat doesn't work because I had to change some code for the battle system to work. I think battling is more important as chatting is :P.
