Arab Hackers?

I was going through the old announcements and came across this.

it gave me a few laughs that arabs would attack a forum that has nothing to do with the government or anti towards them in anyway.

'the government' refers to which government? The hacked the host, not thie site specficially, and they replaced all of the indx files so each site displayed a message which said they were Arab. From memory, the reason was because the people who owned the host were from the west or something like that. But I wouldn't be suprised if the entire message was a hoax.

They will hack and do anything against the West, sadly. We "oppress" them against the Jews and all...

 

I didn't know about this hack, but that's 'cause its from 2006 xD

Thanks for pointing that out kiriashi. You know its rule you can't call me out on it? True story, look it up.

 

Like I said, I have doubt that they were actually Arab hackers. Some organizations deserve to be hacked, not us of course.

 

This actually happened when we first moved to an actual host (compare the date to my join date). I had very little knowledge of anything website/forum related :P
