Hello everyone! welcome to my post about some underground rap artists i have come across in my 17 years of life :P

Since im a big fan of underground rap i decided i would like to share some of my favorites.I'm hoping I could get feedback on

wether you like the artist, some of their songs, dont like the artist and why.Also i would like to share some of your favorite underground artists so please tell me them ^.^. Below will be a few songs for each of these artists. Think of this post as a music exchange for fellow underground rap/hiphop fans (if there is any here haha)

If this isn't your type of music could you tell me why? im very interested in why people listen to diffrent types of music :)

I would really love feedback and people to add to my list :) i will also make a list at the bottom of who has added to this.

Nice list btw! Do you like instrumental Hip Hop as well?

 

You should check out; Substantial, Bop Alloy (with Substantial lol), Flying Lotus, and of course CYNE!

Yes i do love instrumental. shing02 got me into nujabes and one of my favorites by him is counting stars...it's a song that always calms me down...

and thanks il add them to the list once you tell me your favorite songs by them :D and add you to the bottom of the post.

feedback? Sorry, I'm not sure what you mean by that. :P

 

I'm mainly trying to get people to tell me how they feel about some of these songs, what strikes them the most, what they like, what they don't, and which was their favorite and maybe which was their least favorite. I tried to choose a few songs that have a lot of meaning to it, so i could see if people here listen to music for the sound, or for the lyrics and are able to understand what i believe music trully is.

 

I personally believe there are three types of music.

 

Music for entertainment.

Music to take to heart.

Music for entertainment/heart.

 

I believe music needs to have both of these to be real music. But today no one listens to music for the lyrics and trully understand what the artist is talking about.
