CrimsonInferno 35 Report post Posted July 16, 2011 Everyone, watch out! I have been getting spammy emails from the members here, but I know for certain they aren't sending them to me. They provide a fishy looking link, whatever you do DO NOT click the link. If you think the email is from someone here, you should ask them and provide what it says just to be safe. So far, someone's using Rated and Thomas' (?) name/email to spam me with messages and links. The message will sometimes direct you with your username or your email name so please, be careful! They look just like the people who hacked my mother through MSN. You should also watch out for ones that say @.con. Thought I should warn everyone! Be safe! It's weird because my personal email address isn't really linked to Franklin in any way, and yet his username appears up in the subject. Could be a single person being annoying? CrimsonInferno 35 Report post Posted July 16, 2011 It is an email, Joey :) It gets sent to my email at least three times a day no matter how many times I mark it as phishing or whatever its called. :( *Yes, something is fishy about the guests lol* @Marked: I would check what the link is about, but I know for certain its used to hack the account that clicks it. Maybe if its a real person or something or other theyh targeted you because you got MOTY and are a popular member in the forums. Whatever it is.. That blows. Lol HOLY CRAP!! On my G-Mail, I get a red box that says: Warning! We believe your account was recently accessed from: France (sfr.net:88.139.137.254 Something is definetly going on here. And it's not freaking cool, someone got into my e-Mail, FROM FRANCE, and has rummaged through everything. NO WONDER I have no e-Mail right now. This officialy blows. I am very confused about this situation. Someone could had hacked into my account. However, as I said the sent box does not have mail sent to any members.
