Dragon324 16 Report post Posted July 25, 2011 (edited) Hello do you ever get tired of being able to control only one party of 4? Maybe you have more than 4 actors but you don't know how to make it so you can get all of them on the field. Well then this might be for you. Note- this system has added extras that don't necessarily need to be in there, however don't remove them unless you know what you are doing. Description Allows players to use multiple parties of up to 4(default members) by pushing the D button (this can be edited for various other things). Note: in this demo I only did 2 but more can be done in a similar way! Features You can separate a map to make it look like two different maps. You can use this (with minor edits) to make it so there is different routes that different teams have to take and make the transfer spot just one location. With this you can make big invasions and war scenes. You can add text and other various effects to teams that are on standby Note: You must pay attention to how the variables are set otherwise you might make a error, also this can be done without some of the variables I put in but for the sake of making it easy I left it like that. Requirements 2 Common Events (+1 for each team so for 3 Teams you need 3 Common events) 4 Switches ( +2 for each team an extra switch is required per team if you want the teams on standby to do something if you walk up to them or something else) 1 Event on Map set to parallel process with a self switch Actor Graphics How to Set it Up Get the demo here: Party Switch Event Open and play push the D button when you want to switch parties. Carefully duplicate the process into your own game (if you need any help I'm on rmxpu like at least 30 hours a week and would be more than happy to help.). The game is not encrypted. Authors note: You might want to extend the flash screen since the direction facing is not saved to make it so the event has enough time to turn without the player seeing it :biggrin_002: .
