Bigace360 38 Report post Posted August 13, 2011 (edited) Has anyone heard this thing, I really didn't think rap could sound that horrible but its found a new low. Some people have tried to compare it to Bad meets evils album, and I found that kind of stupid since that album was actually excelent. Just go to Itunes or something and listen to it and you'll see what I'm talking about. Jayz sounds like he's having trouble breathing through every verse and Kanye West is just horrible. Each song makes me want to throw my computer out the window. I also don't know if these people on Itunes who give these types of albums 5 stars just brain death or just having hear go music before, but they seriously to relisten before they really rate; Because this is just ugh. Well at least I'm not one of the fools that bought that garabage. These two rappers used to be good Jayz before the Black album and Kanye before he used Auto-tune, but now I don't really know. Album Rating: 1/10 :nono4: Well I've done enough rantting, what do you guys think of the music industry or just this album. Bigace360 38 Report post Posted August 15, 2011 Really so no one listens to music, I've posted a music thread before and no one posted in it. <_<
kellessdee 48 Report post Posted August 15, 2011 Music? I love music. Although, I never liked rap, and most definitely never liked Kanye West or JayZ... As for the industry, well, it's the same as always really. The top <insert arbitrary value here> still sounds the same; And the "up and coming" artists are just non-talented musicians made popular by the producers. That's how I feel about it anyways
Bigace360 38 Report post Posted August 15, 2011 Thank you someone finally posted, I was losing faith :sweatdrop: I agree new rappers are just a waste to the industry and most of the rappers today only talk about the same shit, money. At least Nas, Ice Cube, DMX, Eminem, and a little others talk about something else.
Bigace360 38 Report post Posted August 16, 2011 So I'm going to take a guess and say that only kellessdee and I listen to music, because this topic should at least have 10 replies in it 5 at a minimum (minus my replies.) <_<

Anyway, I have not heard of them and I listen to everything, but Heavy Metal and Oprah.
Bigace360 38 Report post Posted August 16, 2011 Okay, but "what do you think of the music industry or just this album" was the real question not do you listen to music. I was only wonder because no one replied, also if you listen to music you would know who Jayz and Kanye West (the guy who said Bush doesn't like Black people and took the mic from Taylor Swift during the award show) are, mostly because they've been creating music since the late 90's. kellessdee 48 Report post Posted August 16, 2011 if you listen to music you would know who Jayz and Kanye West Not necessarily. If one isn't into the whole "popular"/mainstream/mtv music scene, then there is actually a VERY good chance one has never heard of them. I only know about them because I used to be into that scene (and a certain south park episode featuring kanye west LOL) JayZ and Kanye West are not very influential artists, and thus not as well-known as one may think. It's more artists like The Beatles that everyone knows/knows about (I bet even people that don't listen to music know, and probably even love the beatles)

It's not like there new, there pretty old in the game now compared to others like Lupe Fiasco, B.O.B., Drake, and some others. Plus there's the internet and twitter, plus the radio. I'm not saying you have to know there music, but you can't say you've never heard of them unless your like 60 or 70.
