Joey 9 Report post Posted August 24, 2011 Well, Nintendo's conference in Japan is beginning soon (11pm EST)...and it will be focused mainly on the 3DS. While TGS starts tomorrow, this used to be my 3DS rumor thread, but since some of these rumors are already true (Monster Hunter 3DS, the second slide pad attachment), I'm renaming the thread to be a general discussion about the two events. So, yup...things I'm hoping to hear about in the two events. 1. Monster Hunter Tri G, an expansion of the Wii's Tri. Supposed to be packed with new content, and underwater battles will return with an improved control scheme...whatever that will be. Meaning the Lagiacrus, Gobul, and Ceadeus are back. (they weren't in Portable 3rd due to no underwater) Turns out Tri G will contain a new monster that is a Brute Wyvern, Rathian and Rathalos subspecies, and Plessioth. Also the game will contain the PSP's Mountain Stream. (meaning there are good chances some of the PSP's Portable 3rd monsters will show up here) Can't wait to hear more info on this game. 2. Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance, seriously...they said entirely new levels...so I'm wondering what levels based on Disney movies will show here. Hopefully we'll get a Pixar level. :P 3. Paper Mario, I was hoping this would be out by now...Intelligent Systems had made some great Paper Mario games, would love to see this 3DS game. 4. Yoshi, rumors going around saying that Good Feel (creators of Wario Land: Shake It! and Kirby's Epic Yarn) is making a Yoshi game for the 3DS. Hopefully a true sequel to Yoshi's Island. Ragnyrok 3 Report post Posted August 28, 2011 The 3ds is awesome, and I wish I had one. But Monster Hunter is totally not buzzworthy, imo XD

Joko 1 Report post Posted September 5, 2011 Apparently Nintendo is interested in remaking Majora's Mask...ugh. lol They know that majority of there fans want it. And when you don't feed the fans... The fans get to leavin or using a jailbreak to run it anyways. Expect it within the next 9 months :)
Joey 9 Report post Posted September 5, 2011 I'm sick of the remakes, lol. Like I've said in the past, the only Zelda game that deserves a remake is Wind Waker. xD

Joko 1 Report post Posted September 5, 2011 I'm sick of the remakes, lol. Like I've said in the past, the only Zelda game that deserves a remake is Wind Waker. xD I personally believe oot and Majoras mask were wayyy better then windwaker. I went through oot about 10 times. Majoras mask about 8. And went through windwaker once, and gave up on the second time through. Twilight princess was one were i went through it and used glitches like Early master sword and had a tottal of about 120 hours played xD. IF there going to remake a game Majoras mask and Conkers Bad Fur Day.

madanchi 18 Report post Posted September 7, 2011 MM for 3Ds would be sweet, I'm tired of no good ames coming out apart from remakes. It's plain rediculous for a game console to have shit all good games baring a couple, not including remakes
Joey 9 Report post Posted September 8, 2011 Anyways...even though its in Japanese...Monster Hunter Tri G is up. lol http://www.capcom.co.jp/monsterhunter/3G/

Bigace360 38 Report post Posted September 13, 2011 (edited) About KH 3DS by Tetsuya Nomura It is known that the game is the next major release in the Kingdom Hearts series, and it will feature both Sora and Riku as playable characters, although using their Kingdom Hearts designs. Utilizing the 3DS's high-spec graphics processing, the game will have graphics that are near on-par with those of the PS2 titles, as well as making use of the system's 3D technology such as "falling from high places" and "flying far distances". The development team is currently selecting worlds, planning to use all-new Disney worlds, along with Traverse Town and other original worlds, one of which has been revealed to be based on The Hunchback of Notre Dame (although the world itself is featured in the non-canonical The Sceptre and the Kingdom). Nomura has stated that, with the parallel development of Final Fantasy Versus XIII, he will make sure to retain any game elements that can't be put in Final Fantasy Versus XIII for use in Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. Nomura has also stated that the transition between playing as Sora and playing as Riku will be forced upon and sudden, and can occur while simply walking around. The game also has the keyword of "drop", as in something falling. As well, the 3D effect of the Nintendo 3DS will be used more for "going into the screen" rather than things popping out. In the July's issue of Weekly Famitsu, Nomura stated that the game will focus on the "hidden data" inside of Sora and development of the game is 40-50% finished, with voice recording to begin soon. A secret movie was confirmed, along with new characters that will appear in Traverse Town. Nomura also stated that the Xehanort Saga will end with Kingdom Hearts III and there will be "answers" about Kingdom Hearts III in Dream Drop Distance. A playable demo is said to be available at the Tokyo Game Show later this year, and will feature two new "enigmatic" characters and a new enemy aside from the Heartless, Nobodies, and Unversed seen in previous games. I can't wait to get this, it would be my second game on the 3ds Edited September 13, 2011 by bigace
Joey 9 Report post Posted September 13, 2011 For those of you didn't see and/or are too lazy to look it up, here's the trailer for Monster Hunter Tri G for the 3DS. Other than gameplay footage, it doesn't really show anything new...other than Plessioth and the new Brute Wyvern somewhere in the middle of the video. (and of course new attacks) Maybe during TGS we'll see more, I think it starts on the 15th. Notes from this video... 1. Real time shadows, main reason why this appears to look better than the Wii and PSP version. 2. The Lagiacrus can enter area 5 at the D. Island, I'm assuming the Royal Ludroth and Plessioth will be able to do this too. 3. From that same clip in the trailer, the Lagiacrus can also use its Electric Charging attack on land now. (where it charges it back with electricity, damaging anyone nearby) 4. Jhen Mohran has a sand beam attack thing. 5. Hard for me to tell, but Uragaan seems to have a new attack...immediately smashing his jaw after rolling. 6. Someone also pointed out that Barroth can also sling mud after his charge attack. 7. I didn't catch it, but someone says that Qurupeco can now use a dance that will put everyone in the area to sleep. o.0 8. Turns out Gigginox CAN lay an egg on its back... (obvious stuff) 9. Underwater is back. 10. Because of this, the Lagiacrus, Gobul (yay!), and Ceadeus is returning....after missing from PSP's Portable 3rd. 11. PSP's Mountain Stream will be in this game. Kiriashi 117 Report post Posted September 20, 2011 See me and Kiri knows whats up!?!? It would be cool if they also made Zelda:MM for the 3ds or (im not sure if they have it) Legend of Zelda a Link to the Past. Haha. A link to the past was so awesome, so every time they re-release it I have a new excuse to play it again. Apparently Nintendo is interested in remaking Majora's Mask...ugh. lol Hmm. I doubt it, but I could be wrong. They know that majority of there fans want it. And when you don't feed the fans... The fans get to leavin or using a jailbreak to run it anyways. Expect it within the next 9 months :) Well there is no stable way to run ROM's on the 3DS atm. People have gotten a little homebrew to work though. There's pretty much no way that there's gunna be a N64 emulator for it though. It's just not possible, or at least pretty close to impossible. It's not question of the 3DS's power, btw. It's how the n64 games were made to run. Ocarina of time and mario64 etc. were remade and redesigned for the DS family. They don't just have a drag and drop program that turns N64 games into DS games. xD I'm sick of the remakes, lol. Like I've said in the past, the only Zelda game that deserves a remake is Wind Waker. xD I wouldn't say I am sick[/i of remakes, but I'm not asking for them. We've had enough. xD And Wind Waker was amazing, so why does it need a remake? Just play it again. That game was way too damn easy though. Don't get me wrong, it is one of my favorite Zelda games; even one of my favorite games of all time. But that doesn't change how easy it was. >_< I want to see some skyward sword. that way i can wish that i had a wii :( Dude, I still have my old white wii that's all beat up, but it still works. I'll give it to you for $20. With a controller and 'chuck. And maybe even a game. (of course the wiisports, I mean in addition to that.) I never use it, so it's just sitting in my closet be wasted. Joey 9 Report post Posted September 20, 2011 Trust me Kiri, they ARE interested in remaking Majora's Mask, lol. And yeah, dunno what you mean by the 3DS not able to run ROMs...since Link's Awakening and Yoshi that are currently on my system are considered ROMs. (not to mention the GBA games that will be on there soon. xD Anyways yeah...was kinda hoping for more info on Tri G, like, new monsters and whatnot. T.T
Kiriashi 117 Report post Posted September 20, 2011 ..Those aren't ROM's. Trust me Joey. :P I'm talking about writing a game to microsdcard, and reading it in a flashcard.
