I Hate TV Networks Sometimes

Recommended Posts

Reader,

Alright so I picked up the TV series 'The Event' and watched season 1. However after watching it I found out NBC canceled the TV show and left it open with no ending. I hate it when TV networks don't at least finish the show before canceling it.

The canceled a couple of other good shows to and they all good ratings as well. But they wanted to make room for new shows so they decided to cancel your favorite show. Sorry :sweatdrop:

Yes replaced with a reality TV show called "Sing Off" or something close to that. Reality TV is retarded; because I don't care about heavy set people who can't lose weight on their own, I don't care about a washed up Kiss member and what he's doing now, I don't care about people who want to get into business with out learning on their own and need advice from some old guy, I don't care about people who need to be discovered on TV shows like American Idle, I don't care about some nerd who wants to make his dreamed up Super Hero a real comic book hero...need I go on?

Yes they have a habit of canceling shows with out giving them a proper ending.

These are reasons why I don't watch T.V. anymore. To much damn garbage. :nono4:

Garbage is right. Have you ever seen The Jersey Shore? Worst show I've ever witnessed. If you value your eyes, don't watch it.

Reality shows are bogus but the methods of recording as though it is a Reality Show is effective

Take the Office for example.

Even though its recorded as though it was a reality show, its actually a situational comedy or sitcom. Rather than being filmed in front of a fake studio audience with pre recorded laughter every 5 to ten seconds ( big bang theory cough cough) its filmed in an actual office.

What makes office so good in my opinion is that what they say and do is funny, especially when one character is doing something really ridiculous in the background while the camera is focusing on one person.

I wouldn't say I laugh every 5 seconds of the Office, but the way the act seems realistic and the comedy is natural not scripted. If you don't get the joke you won't laugh and you won't have a studio audience remind you to laugh.
