Pimplicious Itunes Library

Many of you have either had Itunes or another Media Player

Personally, Since I don't have the time to convert my videos into MP4s I use Itunes as my dedicated Music library because its a lot cleaner than most.

However, Itunes music organization tools start to fail once you past around 250 songs, Most people have a lot more than that.

So while I was organizing stuff on my computer getting ready for college, I decided to completely reorganize my Itunes library by taking advantage of a previously underused feature. You see, I was mad that I couldn't have more than 5 stars because I felt that 0 - 5 was not enough to split my songs. Furthermore, rather than having a crap load of playlist I decided to use the Group feature.

When you right click a song and click get info you can tag the song by putting it in a specific group. Furthermore you can, in Song List mode, make one of the column show the group a song is in and organize the song list by groups.

Therefore, if a song is good enough for me to listen to it repeatedly without stop, then it gets 6 stars, furthermore if it is part of a special group such as Sonic which are sonic songs, Bourne which are songs from the Bourne Movies, or Anime which are songs from Anime it will follow the 6 star rating. If a song is stands out in its group then its the Group name with a star behind it which means its almost there

what this will do is make it so that all 6 starred songs show up first followed by the groups

Furthermore, all other songs are grouped with a y for default and a z if I dislike the song. Why would I dislike the song you ask? Well my Library consists of many OSTs which when imported gives you all the songs. So I don't have time to delete them.
