He wandered into The Glade as a young boy and was taken in by a young mother named Laceleaf. She brought him up with her twins Lex and Luna. Although Aven is not an Elf, he has been accepted in the elven communtiy as a hunter, a friend, and a sign that one day, the human and Elf race will once again be united. He is also known as a trouble maker, thanks to his best friend Lex's antics and pranks. He plays the harp alongside Laceleaf at many gatherings and events, such as the Harvest of the Forest and the Day of the Elders. Laceleaf Solarae A pure blood elf. She is the surrogate mother of Aven and the Biological mother of Lex and Luna. She brought up Aven as if he was one of her own, and taught him to live the life of an elf. As a result, Aven became an avid hunter and quite the musician. Both Laceleaf and Aven play the harp. Lex Solarae A loud mouthed half elf, son of Lace leaf. He is Avens best friend. Although they were brought up together, Lex always saw Aven as a friend more than a brother, and has made an almost unbreakable bond with him. They do everything together. Lex often gets in trouble for his pranks he pulls on the community members of the Glade. More often than not, you'll see him sitting in the Elder's Mischief Room. Luna Solarae Daughter of Laceleaf, sister to Aven. Being brought up with Aven, Luna felt closer to him as a sister and began to look up to him. Even though she is a half elf, she is just as fragile looking, and extremely strong as any other elf. She is extremely beautiful and pale, which lures young elven boys to her from all over the village. Luna is an extremely good shot with her specialized bow and arrow. She wields a bow made by her father, and a quiver of arrows that she had special ordered from the Glade's blacksmith. The tips are razor sharp moons that pierce the side of her target. Luna often is found trying to talk her brother out of his pranks and escapades that lead him right back into the Elders Mischief room. Elder Flamma An elder that is the same age as Luna, Aven, and Lex. The element he governs is Fire, and he has the temper to boot, He sympathizes with Aven for not having parents and being human, but dislikes him for being able to talk freely with Luna. Elder Ivan A young adult male elder who governs Darkness. He is strict and mysterious, often taking late n ight strolls to the Wizards tower at the South edge of The Glade. He is the most secretive and quiet elder, but he is also considered the one of the most wise. [/color] Elder Kraden An older man, who claimed the title elder after he accidentally killed a prisoner of war with an astonishing amount of magic. He governs the Earth element, and his wisdom is limited, if not sparse. He is often telling facts that he himself comes up with and fancies tailing the young women around the village. Kraden is not the greatest example of an elder, but he shows an extreme amount of control over his element. Story After a long grueling day hunting in the forest, Aven Valarae is attacked in the center of his home town, the Glade. He is taken to the capitol ity of Agolitha and put on trial for treason against the the Kingdom of Zaar. After a short trial, he is sentenced to be executed in six days. After four days of horror and anxiety, a ray of hope is shed upon him. In an in the moment decision, he kills the man who gives him his food and takes his clothes. He escapes and finds his way out of the castle, knowing he can no longer go back to the Glade until his name is cleared. Until then, he needs to keep moving, and not get caught. At this point in the project, am using no scripts other than the default set. I'm looking for people who can: Create maps that are captivating Script something for a interactive cutscene A person who can help me tell the story I want to tell without the snags in grammar and Dialogue A person who can create some simple compositions that are midi I myself can do the eventing, all I need is people who think this project is going somewhere. Dragon324 16 Report post Posted September 23, 2011 As you said you stated there is not much here, so there is not really much I can say. However I can give you some tips, although idk if there any good coming from me but I'll do my best. First of your story has some cliche to it from the characters but not to cliche depending on how your going to take it with the story. So you need to post a little synopsis of what you have, and then maybe me or someone else can help you progress it. Next you probably should have more before asking for help, people want to see how much you have done and the looks of it before joining. They basically don't want to help someone who is not going to be that dedicated to their game. Also imo you need to spice your post up with screenshots and different colored text, this will make people more interested because honestly it can be boring reading a block of text. In general if you do those things it should help, trust me I was in the same spot you was like 4 months ago, so you will get the hang of it if you stick around.
