RMXPirate 0 Report post Posted June 8, 2007 The True Heroic Tragedies OK so you guys probably didn't know about my two older games Quest and Fallador but this is a mixture of them both. Why am i combining them? Well people complained that quest had no story in it it sounded more like an mmorpg so since Fallador did have a story i decided to put the "Quests" from quest into Fallador!! But now its no longer called Falladour nor quest, i decided to give it the name of the book i am writing since it is based on that story :D ! Story This game is based on my story The True Heroic Tragedies! Here is the story: King Solomon, the great evil wizard, has kidnapped your sister, Misty and kills your father, Tom. You never find out who killed him or kidnapped Misty tell("until" or "'till") one morning, a tall figure appears at your door to tell him some bad news, Cesius is his name, and he is the most powerful wizard alive. You are so angry about the news, he takes a journey to Solomon's tall tower all the way on the other side of the world. On his way he must defeat many monstrous things, do several quests and along side with you Cesius and Elvira.. and a tiff(goblin) named tom Who knows what will happen with the shadows lurking everywhere. Will You destroy Solomon or will all go down to hell? Characters Main character - The main character lol, you name him/her and the sex you choose to be). Sora- One of your friends Main Characters little Sister - Main characters sister, she is the one that gets kidnapped. Cesius - A great wizard who trains you the powers of the Wizards! He too will travel along. Elvira - One of your best friends in the game, she is an elf and also travels with you. Shadows- Solomons slave you can say Tom- A Tiff(my version of the goblin :D) who joins your team. Screenshots None yet because the game is very short now. Features/Game play NEW!!! -Patching _ 1 scene CMS - Full Screen (no need to worry read the next 2 features) - Resolution Script to make the game look better -Widescreen! - Stamina System thanks to fire!! - Custom ATB - And more!!! Updates: Wednesday January 2nd, 2008 5:00 - The game now plays at 60 FPS Max i might change this but I dunno. Tuesday January 1st, 2008 3:03 -Sent beta to the beta testers to fix any map problems etc!! _Added feature so that if someone is dead in party the next available member that is alive will be played as! -Added feature so that events are saved where they were previously so if you open the main menu etc instead of th events resetting they are still where they were(good for animals, and people randomly moving around) -Added move object script but there is an error i am trying to see what i can do to fix it! -LATEST DEMO WILL HAVE 15-17 MINUTE PLAY!! Monday, December 31st, 2007 10:01 - Many bugs fixed - Changed the beginning completely, well at least he brother taken away, and made it more like the actual book. -New title screen! - Made the Loading screen with the title screen picture as the splash for it. - I have finally finished what i needed to do with the first few minutes of game so I can now continue the game making and will start on the elven city at the end of the demo etc now!! - Demo will be released November 2nd or 3rd! This demo will be part Non beta tested meaning that there could new some errors and grammar/punctuation errors that I myself did not catch when testing besides the stuff that Firedemon changed himself in the earlier version(do not worry Firedemon I did not change the beginning completely to where everything you changed was deleted, in fact nothing was deleted!). RMXPirate 0 Report post Posted June 20, 2007 srry to double post, but has anyone tried this out? I know it might suck or the story sounds hirrible but you might like it. I just want some criticism from rmxpunlimited lol as i never got an from here before lol and rmxp.orgs is always mean and evil and nasty lol. I changed the beginning and added a new section to the game(the forest) I added some new features and took some away etc.. The new demo has come out since then but i have not posted it here and with demo 3 soon to come I decided why not post it now :D. Demo 2 is a bit different from demo 1 but not that much, i suggest waiting for demo 3 as it will have a huge difference. Lastly a new feature i added is Patching, so now you don't have to download a 2mb and up file every time i decide to just change a small thing on a map or even add a new one! now you just download the very small patch folder and place all the files form there into the patches folder in the games folder, it is that easy! Now if i add a new script, graphics that is needed in the game in an event etc then a patch will not do it, i have not had the ability to patch the game with scripts yet of or that a new version of the demo will come out, but don't worry, i will not release the demo right away just cause of a added script it will still be released when the next version comes out in this case demo 3 or 4. I know i said it will be released soon, sorry guys but i will be adding the download for demo 3 soon! Also if you can wait another 2 or so weeks demo 3.1 will come out with way better dialogue then it has now making it more game like and not cheesy lol(you will be able to see some of this dialogue change in the intro, very very beginning of intro biggrin.gif) and with a some new stuff in it etc... So i finally posted demo 3 game version 1.4! There is alot of difference between version 2 and three as you can read in the above post or in the quote :D so yeah, go ahead and try it out i guarantee it will be loads better. Also demo 1 will be deleted soon as it is really not needed anymore and really sucks lol. Demo 2 will still be up for download though so you guys could see what has happened between demo 2 and 3. RMXPirate 0 Report post Posted May 25, 2008 Alright guys i have decided and it was a very hard decision i would stop production of TTHT as of now. I am not saying that i will stop making it for ever i will continue it in the near future but as of now i must get my skills better in rmxp. Infact im not really stopping the production at all I'm still working on it its more of slowed production i should say. I really dont want to work on it anymore until I can get better dialouge, mapping and everything into it biggrin.gif. So for now say goodbye to TTHT. Production will start up again in the near future but VX came out and i also want to start making a game in that so yeah... Ps it is very hard to make a game on your own lol i have my team and we will be working on it soon as well and it will be better then it is now.
