What's up guys. Ok, first things first, i am not an expert. I cannot script. My strengths are spriting making tilesets and also custom music (I use Fl Studios 9). If i can be of any assistance feel free to ask. I am somewhat proficient with the "Enu Tankentai SBS VER 2.2xp" (the best in my opinion ^__^) so if you have questions concerning it then just ask. Thanx very much for the hospitality and I'll do my best to be an effective member of this community. To answer your question tho, I began working with RMXP in early 2010. And to be honest when I first started It was like trying to read Japanese. LOL. I just could't figure out what was going on. The "event" box was literally scary to me. I couldn't do anything and I was so frustrated. Super Frustrated. So, I started googling and reading and learning. And thanx to sites like this one, I know what I know about it now. Which is pretty much everything. Scripting is another story though. LOL. I cannot script, but because I do understand the concept of it, I usally don't have any problems with customizing and changing other peoples stuff to my liking. Ummm as far as projects go I actually have 3 in the works. But my current one is called "SUPER BATTLE CITY" (definitely a working title. lol) and I'm really trying to step way out of the box as far as ideas and new ways to do things. Which is exactly why I humbly offer whatever advice I can and also humbly accept what others would teach me. As a matter of fact, Do you perhaps , know of someone who could teach me how to script ??? That's my main goal to learn now. To Script. Thanx for your time. Good bye. /=__=\

Well it's nice to see people still learning RMXP. If you need any help I'd be happy to assist, especially with eventing and mapping.

 

As for learning to script.. no one is really going to teach you. You're just going to have to read all the tutorials on the net and practice like heck. ^_^

 

It's totally doable though.
