Wizardry Wars, Demo 5.0

Recommended Posts

I'm not sure how many of you have played my RMXP project, "The Wizardry Wars," but it has been in development since the summer of 2006 and I've had over 2600 visitors to my website. Anyway, I just wanted to let you all know that as of June 11, 2007 the fifth release is available, which contains 153 maps, many optional side-quests, and greatly expands on the story from the previous releases.

The latest release adds about 50 maps over Demo 4.X and brings the player into the Grand Duchy of Drake, the central polity of one of the main continents of the game. There they will find many optional quests, one of which they need to complete (along with others in later releases) if they wish to get an optional character to add to their party. Later, in Drake Grand Castle City they will find optional quests, many new armor shops that sell lots of new equipment and items, and of course Drake Grand Castle, where they must meet with Archduke Franz to prepare for war against Alstadt.

Anyway, the file is available for download at the link available at my project's website and, in addition to that, there are numerous screenshots of the game in action for you to check out:

I hope you enjoy this release and feel free to give me feedback either here or directly on my website via the shout-box!

Um, is this game complete? If not then it's in the wrong forum. It sounds like an interesting game, though.

Intresting I might download it later on today if I get bored.

*I moved it from completed games since it is just a demo.*

OK, since people have had problems downloading the game, I've changed hosts to Mega Upload...When you go to the website, you can click the link and download the game, or you can simply follow this link:

Nope, it's not complete...Actually, it's an ongoing project that I started back in mid-2006, releasing the first demo on July 4, 2006.

I consider each release an "expansion" to the game, although I call them Demo's. Anyway, this demo is fairly large and can take anywhere from 2 to 5 or more hours to complete, depending on if you just run through it or if you do all the side quests and take the time to explore and enjoy the story to its fullest... ;)

I doubt he's coming back.

If anything he just advertised this without any plans on coming back.

Hmmmmmm...I try to visit forums that I post on when I can. Yes, I wanted to advertise my game, but also, I will try to contribute here if I can and when I have time (I teach university courses and am also working on my M.A. degree). In short, do I plan to come back? Yes.

I merged your last three posts wizardrywars. Please do not make more than one post. If you need to change or add something, you can edit your post.

Don't be so quick to judge. Most of the posts have been offtopic, which is disapointing. Follow the rules everyone.

Does this game have connection with the Wizardy series?

It would be nice to see a labyrinth game based on the Wizardry series. I thought I was the last man who played it.

Nope, but it's somewhat inspired by the "Lufia" series that started on the SNES back in 1993 or so. However, I guess the name could make you think that. ;)

I have never played Lufia, but I am a fan of the SNES
