iPhone self-combusts on plane

As the title says apparently an Iphone 4 just started smoking and then a red heat light appeared. I guessed the got it out before any serious issues happened on the plane. Apple is still investigating the incident though.

Maybe the person with the phone was James Bond/Secret Agent/Inspector Gadget

Or, perhaps steve jobs' death will cause the apple-prodocalypse, and simultaneously every apple product will soon self-destruct.................(wishful thinking?)

If I was to get on a plane with my iPhone 4, I would make sure aeroplane mode was on, and then turn it off to make doubly sure it wouldn't spack out. Strange that it happened in the first place.
