Magic Scrolls?

Alright... What I am looking for is either a script or common event system that will allow me to make scrolls that, when used in battle, hit the enemy with a magic attack. Sorta like the scrolls from TES: Skyrim. Does anybody have any advice on how to achieve this effect?

It's entirely possible to do without the use of common events or scripts. All you really need to do is copy the effects of the spell you want (skills tab) to the scroll itself on the items tab. Everything there is changeable to your desires. Just remember, for the item to do any damage, in the items tab where it says "Rcvr HP" you want that to be a negative number. I'd say set the item's Rcvr HP to -1000 and work from there to make the damage seem more similar to the spell it was created from. I hope this helps you in whatever it is you are doing!
