[Question] Erase an event completely

Hi everyone!

Uhm... well im new :)

and i have a small question (im not sure where to post this sorry if this is the wrong spot)

 

In my game i made an event.

This is what it does:

It makes a party member move out of the player and shows you around in town.

But she is like waiting for you when you enter the town. At the end of the event i placed: Erase Event

But when i go back to the town zone again (after leaving) she is standing there again!

 

So my question is: How can i make an event that really erases after use and doesn't come back?

You'll have to use a switch.

Hmm that seems to work.

The character graphic stays gone but when i walk over the block the event is on it starts again. (but then without the character graphic xD) How can i fix this? Sorry im kinda new to rmxp but im willing to learn.
