Jon Bon 43 Report post Posted January 3, 2012 You may want to check out RPG Maker XP, as well as look into RPG Maker VX Ace, and decide which you like best before you commit any money. Some people prefer XP to VX, and Ace is rather new, and I have heard nothing but good things so far. I have yet to look into Ace, but if in my opinion it is better then XP I will get a copy of VX Ace.

Meteor Rain 0 Report post Posted January 6, 2012 Welcome to RMXP Unlimited. If you're used to VX you probably should stick to that.
Moonpearl 32 Report post Posted January 6, 2012 Welcome. i'd say that VX is essentially easier to use, while XP allows for more customization. For a scripter like me, VX is just a pain in the ass. Plus; I find its graphics ugly, but that's just my taste.
