Question

I'm not exactly new to RPG Maker XP or VX, but I'm still not 100 percent sure on how to change the size of the tiles the character itself is made up of. If I change the size of the image to fit my needs and re-import it, will it work?

Or is there another way of doing it that I haven't thought of?

Thanks for reading

It will divide the image by 4 in both directions. EX: if you want a character that is 32x32 the image would have to be 128x128 or character that is standard rmxp size of 32x48 would be an image size of 128x192. Hope that helps.

Dont think its the same in VX.

Yeah, VX limits the size of character sprites to allow for multiple sprites on the same sprite sheet. I'm sure you could use a script to allow you to change VX sprite sizes like you would with XP.
