EmilyAnnCoons 7 Report post Posted January 6, 2007 My friend says I was supposed to be born a girl, cause I act female in a LOT of ways...me, personally, I don't really believe you can be born the wrong gender...But, I wanted to see what people thought of that...I mean, do you think a person can be born the wrong gender? Satiel 0 Report post Posted January 6, 2007 Hmm. Well, in this day and age, genders are defined by a number of different things: attitude, general views about life, personalities, etc. The problem is that stereotypes out there have basically defined, in the media's perspective, what a guy "should" do and what a girl "should do". I think it's stupid. This basically means that if an adult male wear make-up, he is considered a "feminine" guy because he does something commonly associated with females. I don't think that's cool. Well, I think your friend is wrong (no offense). Everyone has their own unique personality, which shouldn't be blatently divided by gender stereotypes. : D
Suzakudemon 0 Report post Posted January 6, 2007 I doubt that you can be born with the wrong gender, but it could be possible. I think people act a way because of the people they grow up with when they were a small child. My friend is the same way i think. His dad left him while he was still small so all he had to hang out with was his mom, and he acts like a female sometimes.
Satiel 0 Report post Posted January 6, 2007 Hmm true, definitely the people who are most influential on your personality is the people you grow up with. Also, the community you live in can have a huge effect on your personality and overall attitude as well, or at least I think so. Depending on the type of neighborhood you live in, such as one that has helping neighbors or one that has crimes as a common thing, it could even affect your overall outlook of the world. For, though we all know how huge this world is, we often shun the rest of the world out and try not to think about it and only focus on our present. :D

Satiel 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2007 Yeah, I'm for - people are born the way they are supposed to be born - no better and no worse of a personality can be bestowed upon them than what was intended.

Satiel 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2007 Well, if you look at it through the religious perspective, Eve was born out of a part of Adam's stomach. So technically, man and female are more alike then one would think.
Dark Dragon 0 Report post Posted January 17, 2007 Man I doubrt that you have girlish attitudes as the ones I've seen, I mean ye like RPGs after all
Wyzrd 12 Report post Posted February 13, 2007 You aren't born to the wrong gender. It's just the way you grow up and stuff. I know several people that are gay and bisexual. One of the bisexual guys once told me bout a week ago. HE turned bisexual so he wouldn't get a girl pregant in high school. I mean thats kind of on a different subject. But I guess hwat I'm trying to say is there is a reason for everything. The way we act and think, the things we do. It's all has reasons behind it. :)

Grandor 0 Report post Posted February 14, 2007 Their is no such thing as a wrong gender. The way your chromosomes paired up is how they were supposed to be. And the one that determined your gender, is like all your other ones, just a act of nature.
