What's with the sudden influx of scripts?

How to interpret this topic

• forum = anything using the forum software which includes any url with /forums/ in it
  
• website = everything else (scripts archive, project cards, hall of fame, etc)
  

What I'm doing is moving all the scripts we've had on the website (so not in forum topics or anywhere on the forum software) and posting them on the forums.

 

The reason is that when we move to GDU we will not be taking the old website (which uses the joomla software).

 

So the website will be deleted (if you read the interpretation section will know that this does not include deleting any forum data). I am therefore moving all of the content off of the website, and redirecting those links to the forum topics. This will enable google searches and those who link to us to still find the content they were originally looking for, even though its been deleted.

 

This way I should be able to not kill off traffic entirely. I hope!

 

I've been changing the usernames to the author of the scripts so hopefully our leeches at least credit properly :>

 

Its a lot of work. I first started putting scripts on our site when it was first made, back at the start of '08. I used to get up an hour before school and manually format these articles using HTML, some taking up to 2 hours. From articles, the first script archive, the 2nd script archive (current) and now to the forums. One day I'll get it right

 

Over the years they got 319,091 hits.
