[Request] RMVXA character

Recommended Posts

Okay so vx ace character creator is limited and doesn't have hats or anything I need to create these characters. I'm making a remake of Revalations: The Demon Slayer with my Trial and later with the full version when I feel like getting it.

Anyways these are characters I was wondering if anyone can give a chibi look to:

Name: Kishe

Gender: Male

Name: Uranus

Gender: Female

I'll give 5 points for each character completed, hows that sound.

Okay since people are having trouble seeing the images, works from my end but I'll just post the site where I got them from. So here's the 3 images of the characters I need: http://www.fantasyanime.com/legacy/revchar.htm

Bump

I fixed the images so they should be seable through others computers. Weird how I was the only one who could see them?

I will definitely give this a shot. What do you think the best course of action would be? Should you send me the character files to look at or should I grab the demo of VX Ace?

Okay cool, all the characters are the same if you have VX. Otherwise unless you want to start out with the charactermaker then redraw it, I guess I can send you the files.

Here's the first character:

Some one did El

So that just leaves the other 2.

Yeah I don't own VX, but if you wouldn't mind sending me the RTP characters that would help huge. The less work I have to do, the quicker you will get your sprite, ha!

Alright here some characters from the RTP and there damage states and stuff.

Also for Kishe and Uranus, can you give them staffs as there original characters had them and of course have there damage states without them. Thank you.

EDIT: Both sprites can now be found near the bottom.

It's cool, I still have to do all these maps, it's hard coping straight from the game with all these random battles. Luckly someone ripped the whole Overworld and underworld map from the game.

Hmm, are you emulating? If so, have you considered using game genie cheats? I can't say for certain but there has got to be some way turn of the fights with game genie, maybe through a walk through walls code. If you aren't emulating, then you should try. If you are, have you looked for any save files? You may be able to find a save file with a game maxed out and have the majority of the game unlocked and have the random encounters easy to win. For referencing games, using others save files is super handy.

Worst case scenario, most old school rpgs run their encounters off of number of steps. If you are emulating, figure out roughly how many until random encounter then save every X steps and reload the game(takes seconds in emulation, use the speed up button to hasten loading screens), this should prevent random battles. It's like when I played SNES and I knew if I got to and from every door as quick as possible I wouldn't get as many, if any battles but I never knew why until I started making games.

I am emulating and my stats are maxed out, but I think since this game is a 11 years old, all the old gameshark cheats are missing because all I have is stat cheats and I remember game more then just that. I didn't find any saves either. But it's cool, I have to put down the story as I go as well.

Aye game shark* sorry thought it was Snes of a second.

If you are max level, then I suggest saving and reloading, you can even bind a button to turbo, so you just hold the button to the left of the 1 key '~'(speeds up emulation in Zsnes) and hold whatever you programmed to turbo action button, with most games it should just load you right back into the game where you were in seconds(less than a battle), but your step count for random encounters is now zero. The only other thing I could think of is to use the 'blood' item to repel monsters you don't want to fight, if the battles are going to be long.

Aye, remember to make your own save files too then, or save states, so you can go back to spots in the game that are one time, like cut scenes. I did find a save file after about ten minutes of searching, it's at lucifer which I can only assume is the last boss. I just found out that this game is apparently a spin off of the Megami Tensei series, of which I played Shin Megami Tensei, and it was amazing. Atlus rocks too, I actually think I am going to play this now and look for a translated version of the sequels, any idea if they exist yet?

They all should be out, but most of them might be in japanese as it took 7 years to bring this game over: 92' - 99'.

Revelations: The Demon Slayer: 1992 (re-released in 1999 on the gameboy color)

Megami Tensei Gaiden: Last Bible II: 1993 (re-released in 1999 on the gameboy color)

Megami Tensei Gaiden: Last Bible III: 1995 Super Nintendo (only released once, and for a non-portable system)

I never played the main Megami Tensei series and probably never will. But I probably try and find Last Bible II.

Most if not all Japanese RPGs from the bit era have been fan translated. That's more what I meant. As an example I played final fantasy five in English long before the north american release. My brother was telling my about a Japanese space opera he was playing recently for Snes, where he played as a small robot who learned using AI commands and had to explore a space ship while unfolding a drama that is happening to the human cast members, the game was originally in Japanese and was fan translated.

I know, thats why I added the other two games after the stuff you quoted. The second game was fan translated like the first one, however the third game was stated to never to be translated neither by Atlus or Fans. The main series, I have no clue.
