Story... If it doesn't have an uberly intriguing story, I'll give up on it... I gave up on FF7 even... I'm a really hard to please critic when it comes to games. I've almost never completed an rpg because they usually get repetitive or boring at some point and I get distracted...

I'm a huge fan of Strategy RPGs, such as TO, FFT, Disgaea:HoD, La Pucelle, and etc.

 

I despise 7th generation graphics. The Wii, the 360, and the PS3 are the devil. They traded gameplay for looks. Makes me sick. PS2 is pretty much as far as I'll go.

 

And arthritis sucks. Why would you want that? I can't uncurl the pinky finger on my left hand because of it.

I agree with arsieiuni. I prefer a non-linear game, with a really great storyline. I get sidetracked or distracted if the story isn't up to par.

 

Also, since I much prefer non-linear, the sidequests need to be just as detailed and intriguing as the main plot. Just because they're side quests doesn't mean they can't have a bit of thought put into them. :)

Great storyline, great graphics, and great music.

I also prefer sad endings better than hippy happy ending. World isn't always that kind anyway.

I don't really care about gameplay, but usually I played ones with strategy-styled gameplay, turn based, or ATB.

Anyway, Im not a fan of RGP's. They all bore me. A waste of time to play them if you ask me. Dont ask why I am helping make the Unlimited one or made an RPG site... :lol:

I like the RPG, Star Ocean, Dragon Warrior 7, Legend of Abyss, RMXP for the PS2 and of course the Final Fantasy 9, 10, 10x 12. I just enjoy playing them. I beat up the villians instead of my husband. LOL :lol:
