Ok, i have officially decided on a name for the game im working on. I'll say what it is latter, but its going to be a survival-ish horror game (although, im useing that term loosely. theres only so much one can do with a 2-d engine, though i have played a game where someone pulled off the survival horror theme quite nicely). It is enspired in part but RE game play, but will not be an actual shooter, and instead a traditional turnbased battler with guns and ammo and malee weapons and such. Other then that, im still just working on the gameplay aspects as i go...
Now for the reason im makeing this post. Im trying to figure out how i can make sertain special peices of equipment (a sort of accessory, im calling them "Gear".) that when equiped would add a new command during battle that could even contain other learnable abbilitys. Im intending this to allow a player to customize its characters for certain situations. Like a Character could be equiped with an item called "First Aid Kit" and would be able to serve the purpose of a healer that has far better useage than just useing items (is any of this confuseing?)
Im still looking around and tinkering with RMVXA to see if i can figgure it out myself, but if anybody knows how i might be able to do this, please kindly post. Thanks
