Soft Blue is my game production company with a total number of employees of one. Me.

 

Soft Blue is a simple company that creates fun games for more "serious" players. I only specialize in two engines so I need to broaden my range.

 

My recent game, Prince Liam, found here, is still under development. But I have many other idea. I was hoping to "employ"(for free, I have no money) a team to work on different games at one time.

 

I need:

• Composer
  
• Freelance(literally free) scripters
  
• Spriters(I can sprite as well)
  
• Mappers(I can map as well)
  
• Writers(I can write as well)
  
• Eventing(I can event as well)
  
• And possibly a main person who puts together a diagram of events that happen during the game.
  
• Idea Group(the whole team + me)
  

I would be filling in the director position, this includes watching over work using Team Viewer and Skype and Google Docs, Spriting, Mapping, and Writing, Eventing, and Idea Group. Plus some graph help.

Isn't sprinting what you meant as graphic designer? Or do you want to do like concept drawings?

Graphic design could be literally anything. But in a general sense, it's things like logo's, banners, and promotional graphic stuff. You have to remember that an artist or programmer can have literally a potential dozens upon dozens of speacialties. It's always best to specify what kind of talent you need. A programmer, could know html, and java, but not C++, or ruby. A graphical artist could know how to do pixels, but not polygons or cell shading. A writer could be able to do poems and songs, but not traditional stories, etc. It's always good to remember that each talent field related to video games has tons of specific categories one can focus on.

Very true. I could use promotional stuff and concept art, I just need to wait for his response.

The best way to look at it is, we have signed Eco as a development team leader and agreed to publish the games he and the people agreed to help him want to make. If this concerns anyone who has joined his team, let me assure you nothing has changed for him or his Soft Blue direction goals, and we have not taken any creative control over his product ideas now or in the future.
