Nalurah 0 Report post Posted June 17, 2012 Hello! I'm a new member so I thought I'd introduce myself. I've just started creating a new game with my best friend. Well I'm doing most of the work but she helps me with the story and checks my spelling (I'm not a native speaker). She has really bad eyesight due to a disease but she really loves games and got really excited over the idea of developing a game so I offered that we could do it together. I'll admit that I'm quite new to it all (I hate the word noob but I guess it's true in this case) and I'm hoping to learn a lot here. Nalurah

It's always great to have help when working on a project, so that's cool you have that help. We all have to start out somewhere, so no worries. But for the record I consider 'noob' derogatory, an insult, where as a 'newb' or 'newbie' is just a new person to something, and introducing yourself as such is awesome because then people can give you the help you need. There are lots of talented and helpful people here so don't hesitate to post your game ideas, pictures etc, and get some advice. We have scripters and spriters who frequent here as well and help out where they can as they can, so feel free to post request topics too if you really want something in your game that might be past your current skill. it's also a great way to learn. Anyhow welcome on board, glad to have you and hope to see you around. -Cheers!
