The Passive Lion

Who is this crazy Passive Lion guy?!

Recommended Posts

Greetings fellow VX Ace fans!

I am your friendly neighborhood Passive Lion. A new member to both this forum and forums in general. Some of you already know me, some of you really know me, and a majority of you probably have no clue who I am. Where do I begin?

Let me start off by saying Passive Lion is not just my "name" but also my gaming company. (believe me, I'm not conceited, its just a planned coincidence! :/ ) I'm spreading the word about what it is I'm trying to do with Passive Lion in as many places as possible. Here are some examples:

Facebook:

Twitter:

Youtube:

You'll notice that on Facebook and Twitter, I mention that I am in the process of creating two video games. This is true. One of them is using our very own RPG Maker VX Ace as its engine. The other is made with FPS Creator x9. Both games: FIVE and META: Aplha Imperative made their first appearances at the Heroes Convention 2012 alongside Redemption The Series (a new animated show now attracting a fan following: www.redemptiontheseries.com). My games happen to be apart of that massive universe which is a huge honor.

On Youtube, you'll find my channel which showcases (at the moment) video tutorials for RPG Maker VX Ace narrated by yours truly. I plan to release many more in the days to come and also plan to release reviews on other games as well as demos of my own, etc. If you could, please subscribe or even friend/like me on Facebook. That would be a massive help in getting me going.

A few important things to note about me:

I support Tankentai for Ace (yes, despite all the critism it gets nowadays)

I don't care much for attitudes (then again, who does?) or a refusal to help those in need.

I believe in hard work and dedication and that the best things are always accomplished when you decide to not take the easy road. (no this does not contradict with my support for Tankentai. Watch the tutorial I have on it and you'll understand lol)

Eventing is always 10x better than scripting because less can go wrong. If I can do it as an Event, I will.

The key to a good game is first: its story(including concept, characters and writing), second: its gameplay(not hd graphics. How good are you with what you have?), and third: its replay value(is this thing gonna last? A good game you play once. A great game you play again and again). Quality is determined by how much you enjoyed the game.

I am a Christian.

So with all that said, I hope you guys now know a little bit more about me and what I do. I'm sure I'll be talking with many of you very soon and I hope you guys keep on following the regular Passive Lion contributions to these forums as well as Youtube and such.

This is your friendly neighborhood,

Passive Lion

These words sold me more than anything else you showed. Following you on twitter with my company Bon Ink Creations.

Glad to have you aboard mate, and really looking forward to your work.
