Pyramid_Head 0 Report post Posted July 6, 2012 (edited) Our world of Sandail. A world blessed with peace, brought to us by the hero of yore, Gustave the Steel. Since 1306 international peace spread, there were no invasions, no wars, nothing to threaten our new world. And through Gustave's blood and sweat were we able to attain such peace. But... That peace was merely a reprieve. For humans have become complacent. And with complacency comes weakness... Mankind is once again getting greedy. Mankind is once again seeking total domination. And if this greed and corruption continues. Then the seas will flow with blood, and the world will know war once again... Steel Spirit SaGa is a fan-made sequel to the Playstation title SaGa Frontier 2. Set in a world where magic is a prominent force, a power contained with in ones soul, or Anima. Steel Spirit SaGa is a story split into four seperate scenarios. The Main Characters: Zach Almus: Zach is a 'Protector' a bodyguard to royal and political figures. He was born without Anima, and therefore cannot use magic, despite being scourned, Zach is a polite, well spoken individual, but only to those he cares about and to anyone he deems higher than himself, otherwise, he's rather rude. Oshea Creswell: Oshea is a general of the Finney army, the worlds most powerful nation, a ruthless killing machine Oshea carries out her orders with unmatched loyalty, though of recent she has begun to question the motives of her native country. Useph Omagra: A man hunted by the army of Finney, after they attacked his home and murdered his wife, with her dying breath she gave Useph a strange necklace, on his journey to unravel the mystery of this necklace he runs into Zach, and while they bicker like a married couple, they respect each others strengths. Verstus Gravefang: A former General of the Finney Army, Verstus sets on his own journey to find out why he was betrayed and left for dead by his life time friend. A wise learned man with years of experience under his belt, his family holds a secret so great that it would cost him his life if he were ever to find out. Screenshots: The city of Wide Meeting a new character. Exploring a dungeon. A new found friend A battle. Traversing the world map. Features: - Four unique scenarios that intertwine with each other. - Puzzle based dungeons. - Side Quests that either provide experience and rare items, or change the story slightly. - An ELS (Elemental Learning System), to cutsomize your characters. - Battles that don't rely on just buying the best equipment and ploughing through. The Elemental Learning System. 1: Character currently viewing, not much to say about this. 2: Weapon character currently has equipped, the icon at the side of the weapon name indicates that element the weapon is. 3: Element levels, as you attack with a weapon, you'll gain experience in that element, and said element will level up, when a level reaches a multiple of 5, a new spell is learned. 4: Proficiency. Each character is proficient at a certain element, using a weapon of that element will gain more expeirnce than if you were to attack with a weapon of another element. Hints and tips - Your dungeon surroundings will tell you what type of monsters lurk, this is important when making sure you're fully prepared, or you might end up wrongly equipped and end up not doing as much damage as you can, or inadvertently healing the enemy. - A chest that is hard to reach more often than not contains a valuable item. - When you get to the Birchwood forest, make sure you level up a bit there before tackling the dungeon after it. - Side Quests are of course optional, but some will disappear if left alone for too long. - Only sell duplicates of weapons you have, make sure you carry a weapon of each element.
