I have been using the RPG maker programs for a good amount of time now, and I would at least say that I'm good in that I know the basics and how to get the different components to work, and that I can say what qualities a good level would possess, though I'm by no means a master. I haven't even completed a full game yet, though this is due to my being distracted when I go from maker to maker. I have decided now that I'm definitely using XP for a game which I am going to start working on, because I prefer this maker to every other. I love the pleasant and visible graphics, the generous supply of tilesets and the script support of this, and the text is visible for me (unlike say, 2000). Welcome aboard. I too prefer rmxp, excellent engine. There are some pretty darn talented people on this site in their different fields, if you ever need help don't hesitate to post a thread. As far as guidance, definitely. The people here are very constructive with their feedback, and equally openly posting their own arts and media. Glad to have you, have fun!
