Broken Messiah 20 Report post Posted October 28, 2012 I have been using Adobe Illustrator for my Design class and it is really addicting. So I figured, I can help around the forum by vectoring artwork people make. Examples:

deathmoverz24 2 Report post Posted October 30, 2012 (edited) I still dont know what is vector and I wanna learn it if you teched me how. Hopefully it doesnt have more mouse clicks process than what I've been doing. My style is tracing from a sketch by using Gimp Stroke Path until the end. This are my works that I think needs to be edited like yours. By the way, why is your deviantart doesnt have more watchers? Broken Messiah 20 Report post Posted October 30, 2012 So are you saying you me to redo them? They look fine to be me, minus a few things hither and thither. Also I found out from my professor that I am outlining the pictures instead of creating shapes, which is wrong. I don't see the difference as long as the end result is the same, so does anyone know why shapes should be done instead? I sent her a email and waiting for a response. Here is the file I was talking about
deathmoverz24 2 Report post Posted October 30, 2012 I think you cannot compare that file to your images. Its a thing while yours are all human.
madanchi 18 Report post Posted October 30, 2012 (edited) With seperate shapes you can colour them in individiually, for exmaple two arms, two legs, body and head can be coloured/ textured. With only outling you can only colour the entire image in one color/ texture. Edited October 30, 2012 by madanchi

Broken Messiah 20 Report post Posted November 5, 2012 I don't know if it is exactly, and illustrator works with vectors, which unlike photoshop which uses pixels, can be resized without loss of quality
