Pre-pre-pre Alpha Lumis Demo v.0.0.01a

Well as you can guess from the title I'm releasing an incredibly early demo for Lumis. It's more of a taster rather than demo, I hope you enjoy and sorry that the text at the beginning is slow, I wanted it a little faster but choosing the next speed would be far too fast, trust me.

 

Anyways feel free to give me your opinion, keep in mind it really is an early demo. I wanted to show aspects of what I can achieve and the feelings I can bring up. I don't want to show images jsut quite yet because it would destroy all the surprise, once a few of you have played then I will.

 

Tip: Hold on until the very end ;)

 

The magic is beginning :)

I've done a tone more on the game's graphics so I'm aiming to get a new demo out before Christmas. In this demo it was really slow like I said, but it was more of a test to see what I could do.

From what I saw from the demo, I liked it alot. The artstyle is very simple but charming. Do you plan to make it in color, or will the tileset/art be in black and white?

Thank you :) There will be colour and textures but the primary focus is black and white. I'm just trying to find a good balance between colour and texure.

That's kind of how I feel Broken, my next demo is a huge improvement. The spawn is fairly large, has 4 worlds to enter each with their unique themed entrance to represent that world. Items you can destroy which release spirit energy that you absorb (currency). It's just taking AGES drawing the graphics (with my busy life) and I want music for when it's released, which is hard to get.

 

I'd like to make the music myself, but hell, I'll never do that, unless it's piano based.
