Marked 197 Report post Posted November 11, 2012 Hi guys, As requested in a topic, I have made a system for uploading images and other files on any GDU page, at any time without having to reload the page. To use it, click the upload icon in the header bar: This will allow you to upload files and will generate a link for you to use in your posts In addition, all your uploads will be available in your Manager, which is accessible via the header bar: You can retrieve links of previously uploaded files, delete them or view them in the lightbox The reason its called "My Manager" is because I plan to develop it into more than a place to access files uploaded via quick upload. It will be a place to manage all your GDU things, once there are indeed GDU things to manage ;) The purpose of this is not a file hosting service. The purpose is for these links to be posted on GDU (although there is no rule against posting elsewhere) and to have the option of uploading without venturing outside of GDU to find a place to upload. I even uploaded a photo from my phone :D The upload system is pretty cool, if your file is large you'll get a progress bar and it will detect which method to upload with. I'm thinking right now that we need a global popup that gives you access to your manager files. Pagination in the manger, search, categories, etc. etc. All depends on if it gets used :> I got lots to make, gotta prioritize. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

The original purpose for this particular part of the manger, the uploading, is to get urls to post on the site. If you've got imageshack then you've already got a url.
