chigoo 3 Report post Posted February 2, 2013 Hello, I'm Chigoo and I'm glad to have found this site by accident today. I started using rpg maker a long time ago I can't remember when, My first encounter with rpg makers was when I went to game stop one day to buy a new game, then I saw it rpg maker 2 for the play station 2, soon after like a week later I brought rpg maker 3, back then I didn't even know that rpg maker was for the computer, I spent about half a year trying to figure it out, the hardest part was trying to figure out variables and switches, lol... shortly after I discovered rm2k3. The very first game I made was using an alien NPC and made like a hundred of them and the only way to win is to find the right one. Soon after that i discovered RMXP, and got the trial, I didn't really care for it. Finally VX came out and it was the first RM I've actually taken the time to learn and Make a game for. The games I've made but never completed for RMVX include Life: In the city which was going to be a open world rpg much like grand theft auto, I had all the mechanics done, and most of the maps but I kinda quit. Another project I had was My kingdom which was an RTS where you had to manage resources and keep your kingdom from attackers while helping your towns people with the daily need. The only game I've ever finished was a short game called saving ... (I forgot the title) lol which was a game I made for my girl friend before she broke up with me. Basically in the game she was kidnapped and I go to rescue her at the end we were supposed to walk off in the sunset but I changed it to after I defeated the kidnapper she says she broke up with me and I just leave her with the Kidnapper... lol. Now... Currently I'm working solely in RMVX Ace! I am still waiting for the right scripts to start my main big project mainly a capable ABS, for I do not like turn based and random encounters! At the mean time I'm doing YouTube videos mainly on RMVX Ace. My videos consist of RMVX Ace Video tutorials, RMVX Ace Let's Plays, and Let's make an open world rpg which is a way for me to show how To/I make an open world rpg. I also do a mine craft let's play called MineFun, and some other random video from other games. Thx again :D I'm planning on releasing an Alpha version of the game I'm working on, which is also the game I'm using for one of my video series, tomorrow. Although the game is far from Completed I wanted to get some feedback, and some people to test out some of the systems I have in place.
