chigoo 3 Report post Posted February 4, 2013 (edited) Abstract: LIFE is an open world sandbox RPG, a blend of Skyrim, GTA, Pokemon, The Sims, and many other open world Games. Genre: fantasy, science fiction, Open world Life simulator The Story: The game of LIFE: Mini Town just came out a few weeks ago, in its first week everyone was talking about it like it was the best game in the world… As a gamer you feel obligated to get this highly acclaimed game, so you started to save up for it. After a few weeks of saving you finally got the game and are now about to play it for the first time. As you start up the game you feel an incredible rush of satisfactory running down your spine as you play the game. Nothing at this point can go wrong… Suddenly a blinding light coming from the TV appears and you are suddenly sucked into the TV, and as sudden as the light came it left taking you with it. You wake up falling from the sky with nothing but yourself and your underwear, but only it wasn’t yourself who was falling It was the avatar you just created in the game, but some how It was you and you it. After arriving in MiNi Town you realize you have been sucked into the game. You spend most of your time in this city trying to find your way out of the game and return to the real world. While trying to find your way out you decide at some point that you might as well try to live your life as the rest of the people in the city do, so you start attending school, get a job. Soon you realize that this strange city is no place for noobs, so you then decide it's time to beef up and get yourself fit for fighting off thugs and whatever else the city hides. So you hit the gym, and buy yourself some weapons for you know "Self Defense." While in the city you meet a lot of people, some friendly, some mean, and angry, some are even weird, and strange, but the only way to fit in is to make friends. Along the way you also make enemies, and lose friends. Some enemies even becomes your friend, and friends your become foe. The more you fit into the city the harder it is for you find any reason for going back home, in the real world Character Bios: In the real world you were no body, no one knew you existed and you spent most of your time playing video games. Your parents are dead and you live by your self. Karma system - The more evil things you do the more evil you are and good people hate you same applies for good deeds. Bar/Gym fight - Fight Fight Fight! Arena: (Pokemon Style) - fight in the arena to collect medals collect all 10 to enter E's - Tower Jobs- Get full time or part time jobs. You can even become a drug dealer. Bench press system - Mini game that acts as a way to build your strength Crafting - allows you to craft items such as armor, potions, and more Weather System - Rains, Storms, and Sunny Cars - Buy and drive cars, later on you can steal them (WIP) Mini Games - You can play mini games from the arcade and many other places. Gambling - you can buy and gamble tokens in the Casino Super Powers(Skills) Four classes - play style varies depending on your class Woods man jobs - Mine, Fish, Lumber Jack, Hunt animals, collect herbs Gangs - Join one of the three gangs in the city, or destroy them SideQuest - Tons of stuff to keep you busy. chigoo 3 Report post Posted February 9, 2013 Change Log v1.2 Added Classes: you can now pick from 1 of 4 classes with starting and passive stats Can now get a job at koals biggi mart Police gives you karma for turning in weed and cocaine Church no longer gives you steady karma it's now randomized and you may lose stats Fixed A lot of bugs Added needs, maintain your needs to stay healthy Hunger -If it reaches 0 you start to lose Health Bladder - if it reaches 0 you start to lose Health Cleanse - if it reaches 0 people won't talk to you Fun - if it reaches 0 you start to lose Energy Food eat food Bladder use bathroom in your apartment Cleanse use shower in your apartment Smoking weed, doing cocaine, working out, and fighting increases your fun while working and going to school decreases your fun. Removed HUD Added Intro cut scene Gym fights now give you a random 1-3 STR Added a fancy bed, you can choose how long you sleep. (No way to get in current demo but it's there) Added short Sword You can now be arrested for going into the shop of the drug dealer. Removed GOD's sword, and $99million from the game Added $100 , ragid shirt, and improved checklist in the bank Keep in mind that this is an Alpha Demo, so expect to see a lot of bugs. Some basic things that would make a big difference to general game play would be different music, especially when entering buildings. And secondly, the doors are a bit odd. You can enter a door without ever facing it, and some transfers happen instantaneously. What you can do is when a player touches the transfer even, use set route to make him/her face up, or move up (so it looks like he's entering the building). And then just add fading to all transfers. And then just add fading to all transfers. blam it on the pixel movement packed with the battle system I'm using <.< which i hate, but there's no way to get rid of it... but ya I will be fixing the doors as you said, I already have some Ideas on what to do. Also thanks for trying out my game guys, please report any bugs you run into. PS: the music I have in the game is there as a place holder, I will be adding new music to the game later on in dev.
