9 Year Old Building an RPG to Prove Her Brothers Wrong!

Recommended Posts

I saw this posted on enterbrain's famitsu.com blog. It's as the title suggests, so far she was raised $23,000 to make her game. Really impressive. And she's using RPG Maker VX Ace.

Right now, I'm working with RPG Maker VXAce because my Mom and I looked around and it seemed to be the best option for a 9 year old. But if anyone reading this knows something better, please let me know

Could try RMXP ;) This quote was precisely what we thought when they brought out VX D:

Anyways, good on her. I wonder if she'd like to use Lizzie's Quest Menu script.

Actually Kick Starter and other sites like it are not obligated to force the starter of the Kick Starter  to use the money for what they claim they will use it for. It says it in their Terms of Use/Service. However, it could have a negative impact on the person if they fail to deliver the "prizes" or use the money as they stated they would, but legally Kick Starter will not take action and that is up to the people who donated money.

Man I retract my previous statement. As this is all a scam.....:(

There was a picture me and my roommate found that showed all this info in one picture. But anyways here is a article pretty much saying it.

This kind of thing is exactly why i am very skeptical about kickstarter projects. You never know who will try to scam you. Bastards already have millions of dollars want even more if they can get it.

I think this scam was too obvious. I searched RPG Camp on Google and did not find any sites related it it. All I found was this girl's scam. A RPG Maker game doesn't require nearly $900.

Agreed, with all the default resources plus all of the other resources floating around on the internet, It's not that hard to build a project with no money. Just need a end goal.
