Hello.

Recommended Posts

I'm sabao, and I'm new here. I'm 19, currently in my second year of college taking up pre-med. I've been a user of RPG Maker for some series now, and am a proud legal XP user right now. I've made only one released project during my long illustrious career; a ten minute fiasco entitled "The Adventures of ManaBat!". I have one project in the works right now, entitled "Steel Hearts". I dabble in a bit of illustrating, web design, and writing. Mediocre at them at best. Don't expect me to sprite/draw/code anything for you though because I work slow and know nothing about coding.

That's pretty much it, I guess. Hello everyone.

Hi! Welcome to the forums! You seem like the active type but i'll just say it anyway, PLEASE BE ACTIVE! ahaha. Anyways, hope you like it here and don't hesitate to ask any questions at all

No promises, but I'll try my best. :P

Welcome to the forums sabao. Your project Steel Hearts looks interesting. You even have a forum for it.

Thanks. The team's a bit of a mess so the forum's there to keep things in one place.

I remember you from Creative Asylum. You warned me against doing a Suikoden fan-game. A moment in my life that my eidetic memory decides to drag up every single time I see your name.

But I digress. Welcome to the place, mind your step, and stay away from the armies of living laundry. They tend to eat anyone that smells of art.

I dunno. "Great franchise," or perhaps "Well, you can't screw up the continuity of the series anymore than the company already has." That's what I'd say anyway.

Don't get me wrong, I love Suikoden very much. But you've gotta admit; 4 was the worst idea since Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest. I don't care how great it looks on paper, in execution it makes me weep tears of frustrated indignation.

I apologize for my continued off-topic rambling.

Agreed. I do say 5 was good though. Enough to put my faith back in the series, at least. It still misses that familiar feel you'd have in 1-3 but perhaps that's because the first three were so close together and in succession chronologically.
