[VXA] Lost Woods [The Horror Game]

Lost Wood is my version of Slenderman made using RPG Maker VX ACE. This game was made in two days.

 

That being said this game has no story to it but the background story, you have a simple task collect 8 pages scattered all over the map to escape your nightmare, before being caught by Death.

 

The Story:

Somehow, some way you found yourself lost....

Some way, somehow you know you are trapped...

Somehow, some way you know how to get out of the trap...

Now you find yourself looking for eight pages of The Book.....

This book has the Power to wake you up from your Nightmare…

Yes, you are dreaming, and the only way to wake up it by completing, and reading The Book!

 

 

 

Character Bio:

You are an unknown female or male human who wakes up in a dream, trapped and only has one task in mind. To wake up…

 

 

Tips and Tricks:

1.       Play the game in a dark environment with headphones, and if possible alone.

2.       Always stay on the move, DO NOT STOP FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME.

3.       Death is ALWAYS following you.

4.       There are three random Forms that Death can take when he appears, you can’t tell by looking at him but the way he moves.

          [1] Just chases you at a moderate pace [2] runs after you, can turn invisible, and walk through things [3] Teleports around you while playing a slashing animation.

5.       Key to surviving Death after he appears is to run away from him and never looking back.

6.       Never go into the mansion unless you can’t find the last page outside.

7.       If you must go inside the mansion do so before you have collected 3 pages.

8.       You will DIE if you enter the mansion with 6 or more pages.

For a project that took two days it's pretty good :thumbsup:

 

I've seen plenty of Slender-Esque games, and most of them aren't too great in the grand scheme of things, but this has some potential, and I like it. Maybe you should consider expanding on it, adding a storyline. Maybe even the ability to combat some of Death's various minions, but not Death himself. Anyway, I'm just spewing ideas, you don't exactly have to go with it. Nice game, got me quite a few times. I like how the entire thing isn't just an open area, and there's plenty of close and claustrophobic areas that Death can really wreck your day in.

Thanks, I'v actually added in some minionsvwhich you can fight. In the start you have nothing but through out the woods there are 3 weapons a sword, a hand gun, and an SMG. When you find one you won't know what it is anD there's is only one of each in a game so you're trying to get your hands on the SMG. But I've been to lazy to upload it.

 

and as for the story maybe but I'm working on a bigger project which is taking most of my time. I only made this game because I was taking a short brake on my main game.

 

PS: I'm using an ABS would ruin the game if I was using a TBS
