VX Engine PAge Error

Yeah i noticed the Spoiler tag wasn't working for me either.

And the Mod CP Overview panel gives an error.

I also noticed that the Global options not longer have any function. Can't change the color or have the side panel.

I noticed a lot of the BB Code didn't work in 1.0 either. Really hope that gets fixed soon.

Weird about those spoilers... I'll look into that now.

 

I've fixed that tutorials page (the link was wrong), fixed the RMVX page (good spotting shin, I thought no one views it), I fixed the notifications and I have removed the global notifications open from the user menu (I'm going to make that into a page and have some cool customization features in future).

I notice that if you enter bb mode in the editor it translates the post properly. That's a quick fix for you.

Well I haven't tried much bbcode with 2.0, but the code tag works perfectly now. It was weird and buggy before.

I've got the spoilers working, and I added a new animation too. I guess the upgrade overwrote my custom spoilers.

I have a hunch that it doesn't work when the post adds itself in via ajax (you know, when you use the fast reply and it automatically adds itself) but after that, eg you refresh the page, then it works.

Hmm I have to complain when I'm writing posts my flash player audio gets choppy in firefox.

And the notification module count doesn't decrease when you check the notifications.

It's been working fine for me. That's odd... you guys using Chrome? It shouldn't be an issue unless a JS error blocks the ajax call, but works fine for me in both. I changed the code a bit to clear them a different way. Does it work now?

It seems to be a periodic problem for me too. Some times I come in and it says 6 messages (when i have 0) and others it stays blank, and then randomly it'll be at 2...

 

I was also curious if thread subscription notifications should be in there? Cause I haven't been getting them,

Ok. It's possible you're misreading it (I hope that's the case) because I've missed out the times there when you get the notification. If someone posts in the same topic again then it looks like the count has gone up for now reason. The system works like your notifications build up until you click the button. When you click the button, the count is set to 0. You check your notification log here: http://www.gdunlimited.net/forums/index.php?app=core&module=usercp&tab=core&area=notificationlog Hopefully the first 10 there match the 10 in your notifications dropdown.

Although I haven't had time to test that. I assume it works though. The downloads, arcade and gallery don't matter because eventually I'll delete those.

It always says i have 1 when i didnt since i checked them all and deleted all of them. Now when i still check them it says i still have 1 when they are all gone.

EDIT: after i replied here it says i have 2 now and i check the box and it says i have nothing and when i refresh now it says i have 2 no matter what. Also checked the log in the usercp and nothing is displayed there.

Oh I see, I can think of a reason why that would be happening. I think I can fix it but it won't be for a few days coz I'm currently doing an assessment.

That error must have occured i the profiles as the new resources system is to new that there is no report button, but I will build it asap.

 

A lof of those profile tabs don't work. I'm not too worried about it right now as I plan to delete both the old gallery that puts that tab in the profiles, and the profiles.

 

I'll do some stuff tomorrow, just finished a major test today.

Thanks, that error seems to be the common one amongst all these new errors popping up.

 

Ok I've made a modification to the notifications code, and I've also added in dates. Can someone who's having trouble with them please let me know so I can investigate it further? I've never had any issues so I need to inspect someone's account to find out. Seems to be working fine for Pol.

Yea notifications were broke for me yesterday. But they are working fine now on FF.

 

NVM, I lied. It won't clear that you replied to a conversation and says I have 4 notifications.
