I'm not quite sure when the last time I popped in was, but going back on a quick recap of the past year: Last July, I got my first (and last) DUI. This sent me into a downward spiral filled with drugs, some sex, and lots of alcohol. Oh, and lots of money spent. Got involved with some not-so-great influences, and almost landed in jail. January rolled around, so I figured I would start a new year with a fresh start. After meeting an amazing girl (online, go figure), I decided it was time to straighten out. As of February 14, 2013, I am completely drug and alcohol free. I stopped seeing a psychiatrist after 12+ years of therapy in March. I started going to college for a degree in Food Service Management in May (2 weeks left until this semester is done). Last Friday (the 7th), I was told that I got a promotion at work that I had put in for a few weeks ago. I'll be starting when I get back from vacation after this week :) In summary, my life could not be going better right now. It took a lot (years) of wading through miles of s***, but things are finally pulling together. I'm truly the happiest I've been in the longest time; and in the best shape of my life :D For those of you that remember me, I've changed, and I'm back! I think its been what 3 years since we last talked?
