I'm a representative for the fandom-wide puzzle rpg project, Sherlock: The Game Is On. For more information, you can view our featured interview for The Daily Dot here: http://www.dailydot.com/entertainment/sherlock-bbc-16-bit-rpg-game/ Or check out our official game development blog here: http://sherlock-thegame.tumblr.com/ _____________________________________________________ GAME DESCRIPTION: The game begins, of course, in 221B Baker Street. It takes place over the course of 3 months where you play as John Watson, blogger and crime solving partner of the great Sherlock Holmes. The object? Keep Sherlock's boredom meter from getting dangerously high by solving crimes—and keep your own money meter from getting too low. The gameplay consists of Ace Attorney style investigations as well as Professor Layton style logic puzzles. Our staff is currently made up of some of the most renowned writers and artists in the Sherlock fandom. Though most of our staff is already in place, recruitment is still open for the following teams: writers illustrators pixel artists puzzle designers sound designers staff assistants translators specialist consultants For more information about each staff position and to see how you can qualify, view our application procedure at http://sherlock-thegame.tumblr.com/apply (Right now, we are specifically on the lookout for talented sound designers and pixel artists. But we will consider applications for other positions as well.) _____________________________________________________ Volunteering and Scheduling:Due to the fact that our development team is completely composed of volunteers, we always make sure that each member’s workload remains reasonable. Many of the members of our staff are either in the workforce or are currently pursuing a major, masters, or PhD in their field. Since they are all graciously volunteering their time between their busy schedules, we are extremely flexible in negotiating deadlines and distributing tasks evenly throughout individual development teams. _____________________________________________________ If you are interested in applying, or if you have any questions about the application process, please reply to the topic below. NOTE: This post is for recruitment only. All replies should concern the application or development process. If you have feedback about the game itself, please direct your reply to our Early Game Development post. Edited July 30, 2013 by sherlockthegame
