I wanted to do something in Unity, so I read a few tutorials, made a few copy and paste games, then with the knowledge at hand, I made a project from scratch. Originally, I was going to make a Dragon Quest I styled RPG, but gave up due to my lack of experience, and settled for a simpler project. This doesn't mean I'm going to stop using RPG Maker, this was just a short demonstration of what I've learnt so far.
I did this with C# if you're curious. The game is just dodging falling water drops. Nothing too impressive, but I'd say it's a good start.

Not bad. Yea id start with something simple before going to make an RPG. I been using unity for almost 3 years now and im now advanced enough to do RPG stuff lol.
Right now im working on an RPG Kit for me and bob but i may share it with the public aswell.
For now you could add a score system and make drops come faster and faster as time goes on. Could also make a very simple save system using playerprefs so you can save/load highscores.
