Revelations: The Demon Slayer (or Megami Tensei Gaiden: Last Bible) is an RPG by Atlus, release in September 1999 for Gameboy and Gameboy Color in North America. It's the first color RPG for Gameboy Color released in North America. It follows the Pokemon trend by giving you the option to negotiate with enemy monsters in an attempt to convince them to join your battle party. Revelations already came out in Japan a couple years ago for the original Gameboy, titled as Last Bible. So, the version for Gameboy Color is a re-release, and as an added bonus it was color-ized for the 'new' Gameboy Color system.

El is a student of GAIA. Under GAIA teacher Zodia, he learned the power of GAIA. On the afternoon of his graduation, people began to hear some strange noises from the sky far away. The noises were initially indistinctive, but they eventually came closer…

Dark objects started to cover the horizon.

Creatures that were never before seen started to appear…

The battles in Revelations: The Demon Slayer and Last Bible II are the typical text-based style. You can get up to 100 monsters and convince them to join your battle party. You can elect to try to negotiate with enemies rather than fight them. The monsters actually join your party. As you collect more monsters, you'll be able to merge them together into even stronger monsters. There aren't really too many spells but at least they are some. They consist of the usual Fire, Ice, Sleep, defense boosting, attack boosting, etc.

    Getting Back to business

    By Bigace360,

So I know I have been gone for awhile from the site, but that doesn't mean I haven't been putting in work into this game. Besides what is already posted on the site, I plan to release a video soon show casing the menu system that I have redesigned for the game. The video is just a quick look at how the old menu looks compared to the new one that I created. Nothing special compared to when I finally finish the battle system which won't be until the summer.   The reason this game is taking longer than it should of is because I was trying to do two things at once, working on Revelations and Warriors Episode I, which isn't a smart move without an actually team to get things done. So my first priority is to complete Revelations: The Demon Slayer and then Warriors Episode Trilogy as […]
